In the long colorful history of the U.S. Marine Corps Snipers, one man clearly stnads alone. This man is Gunnery Sgt. Carlos M. Hathcock. As ardent admirer’s of Gunny Hathcock we contacted him about the idea of authentic print showng him at the Moment of Truth . After some hesitation, he agreed to the idea but only on the condition that he would have the final word on how the painting would look, and that it would be accurate down to the last detail. Max Crace was commissioned to begin the project. After months of wlrk with Sgt Hathcock, Max was able to create a painting that was authentic in every detail.
